Henry Grattan - Greeting Card - Edge of The Moor

On the edge of the moor, spanning small streams, rough hewn footbridges of granite slabs provide crossing places for men and animals. In more recent times some of these bridges have been replaced by less appealing wooden structures but the ruined relics of a bygone age often remain nearby, giving shelter to moorland flowers through the spring and summer months.
