
One of many with its source on Bodmin Moor, eventually joining the Camel, the only sizeable Cornish river to empty into the Atlantic.
These moorland streams rise in indeterminate boggy tracts and flow placidly in gradual descent to the moor's edge before tumbling rapidly down to the softer lowlands.
